Q. How much does Halloweve cost and what is included?
A. At the gate, the general admission per person is $24. Save time and $ if you pre-purchase your tickets online for as little as $18! General admission includes 1 time through all haunted attractions (Shoot the Beast is available for an additional fee). Additional tickets to re-enter these attractions can be purchased at a discounted rate on special nights.
Q. How can I work at Halloweve?
A. Our office is now accepting applications. Please note that you must be 18 or older to work in most areas of the park. Positions available: Haunt actors, makeup artists, volunteers. Come prepared and plan to work hard.
Q. Is it scary?
A. Yeah. It’s really, really scary. We take pride in getting you to scream. No one, however, should be forced to do anything they do not want to do. Parents, please refrain from dragging your child into the park already screaming and crying. We want this to be a fun and scary experience for all, not terrifying and mentally harmful. Please understand that refunds for being scared will not be given since that is what we are trying to do to you!
Q. Can I bring my kids?
A. You are welcome to bring your children to Halloweve if you choose. However, please be warned that our beasts, ghouls and zombies DO NOT discriminate scares by age. If you come, you will be in close proximity at ALL TIMES to our actors. You know your child. Make sure they are mature enough to handle the attractions. THIS IS A VERY SCARY EVENT AND IT VERY DIFFERENT FROM NORMAL DIXIELAND OPERATIONS. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Q. What is the cost of parking?
A. Parking is $5.00. Coupons for Free Parking can be found at many local businesses. Watch our Facebook for offers and deals.
Q. Are the attractions open if it RAINS?
A. Heavy rain and lighting DO close the park, light rains however just add to the atmosphere! Watch your local weather and dress for cool evening weather. PLEASE NOTE, almost all of our attractions are outdoors.
Q. Can I smoke and use lighters?
A. No, smoking is not allowed in the park at anytime. Ghosts find smokers absolutely annoying. Use of lighters will result in you becoming a permanent prop in our haunt…seriously.
Q. Does Dixieland have security?
A. Yes, the park is patrolled by security at all times. Dixieland’s Halloweve has Zero Tolerance for inappropriate behavior. Touching props, actors, other guests, as well as breaking any other posted rule will end with you becoming a permanent prop in the haunt! Bottom line is this.... Trouble Makers will be ejected from the park with no mercy AND without refund. We want everyone to have a safe and fun time!
Q. Is food available?
A. There will be food for your eating enjoyment. On the menu are crickets, meal worms, and other insects. For those not as adventurous: Pizza ,meal deals, the BEST Funnel Cakes in the world, drinks, candy, popcorn, and other items can be purchased.
Q. What am I NOT ALLOWED to bring to Halloweve?
A. No Pets other than service animals, NO MASKS OR COSTUMES, LET US RE-STATE... NO MASKS OR COSTUMES, No Outside Food or Drink of any kind. THIS IS FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR ACTORS!!!
Q. Are ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES allowed?
A. NO! There are No Alcoholic Beverages Allowed nor do we serve any! Don’t ask, don’t brown bag and if you’re drunk, stay home.
Q. Can I bring my camera and flashlight into the haunts?
A. No, you may see the monsters waiting in the dark to scare you. You make take pictures in the park but not on any of the attractions. No exceptions.
Q. Will the monsters touch me?
A. Our monsters are not supposed to touch you. If they did, they would have to carry you away. Of course, in the darker areas, something may accidentally bump into you but our monsters will never grab you. You may be grabbed by one of the members of your own group who is too terrified to continue without your help.
Q. Do you give group discounts?
A. Yes! Group discounts are available for groups of 10 or more.
